I’m telling myself I’m going to keep this short because i feel like I’ve repeated myself a million times at this point, but Monday night I finally got to see Colette Carr perform live for the first time (after three? four?? five??? years, I’ve lost count) and all I have to say is she made me so fucking proud.
The venue was small and there honestly weren’t that many people (monday nights, amirite?), but unconcerned, Colette still hopped up onstage and delivered a fantastic set. By the last song everyone was eating her up, and for me, that was the best part. That’s what it’s all about. At the end of her set, as Colette was walking around the venue personally meeting everyone, my friend was like “I honestly didn’t want to come tonight, but Colette was fucking dope”, and that was like the icing on top of the cake for me that night.
Keep a lookout for this girl, she’s coming for blood.
